We did a 6 day trip from Olgii with Discover Altai. It was fantastic. We spent 3 nights camping near Khoton lake and 2 nights in a family ger at the entrance to the 4 hour walk up to Tavn Bogd base camp. There were 3 days of long drives but made worthwhile by the magnificent scenery. The whole trip was very well-organised by Daurenbek in Olgii and we had excellent service on the road from Janat and Kenju.

Inspired by Julia Roberts, I came to Mongolia to stay with a nomadic family. It was the most unique and perspective-changing week of my life.
