Here in Mongolia, only between some of the villages and cities there is an asphalt road, and the rest of the land, where the most beautiful attractions are located, is off-road.
That is why we offer you only proven off-road vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus 470 and Russian UAZ.
We are located in western Mongolia, and the pickup point starts from Ulgii. Once you get the car, you can go anywhere and return to Olgii. And only in some special cases, the pick-up or drop-off location can be changed to Ulaanbaatar, for example, when renting more than two weeks and non-touristic period of the year.
Western Mongolia includes five provinces. Here you can visit magnificent sights such as
- Kharhiraa Turgen Mountains,
- Sutai Khairkhan,
- Tsambagarav Mountain,
- Ulaagchin Khar Lake,
- Uvs Lake,
- Khar-Us Lake,
- Khoton and Khurgan Lakes ,
- Altai Tavan Bogd Mountains.
The road is mountainous and finding the right way to your destination is not so easy due to a large number of roads. You can drive about 150 km a day and it will take you 6-7 hours.
It is not recommended to drive at night. Losing the road is common, and don’t worry, it happens quite often. And of course, you’re better off having a standalone mapping app like Maps.me or BigG.
It is perfectly normal to stop a car on the road and ask for directions. Mongolians are very friendly and always happy to help. This includes when you are about to cross the river and the old bridge, please double-check to be able to cross safely to the other side.

All the cars we offer are time-tested and able to survive on such a bad road in western Mongolia. And they are all 4WD with high ground clearance.
As a deposit, we will ask you to leave 500 dollars and one passport. We will sign the contract and you will have notarized permission. And there are many types of insurance that you can choose from at will.
